Technical or Practical Limitations
Technical Limitations:
- None
Practical Limitations:
- This certified EHR has the capability to interface with 3rd party imaging service providers for transmitting electronic orders and receiving results.
- A bi-directional interface is not required to comply with this criterion. However, from a practice workflow perspective, a bi-directional interface is preferred when ordering and receiving diagnostic imaging results.
- Clients wishing to set up a bi-directional interface with their preferred diagnostic imaging service provider must submit a radiology interface request form to our client services department.
- Please allow sufficient time to complete the interface project. A typical radiology interface can take between 90-120 days or longer depending on 3rd Party interface specifications and testing requirements.
